My name is Alexander Beck and I am a nurse, writer, and photographer. I created this website as a dedicated repository for my writing and photography in order to showcase two of my passions. I started this website just as I left Portland, Oregon to live in Australia with my wife Rose. We plan to be in Australia for a full year of adventure.
All of the writing and photography on this site was created by me with the intention to share freely with anyone who may be interested. I intend to write about my travels and illustrate as much as possible with the use of my camera. Besides the inclusion of a few images from my Instagram account, @beck_and_his_travels, all of the work on this site is original. I hope that all may enjoy my work but I respectfully request that no one copies or distributes any of my work without my written consent.
